Blues head coach Pat Lam has named an unchanged starting XV for Sunday morning’s (kick-off 4.05am) clash with the Sharks in Durban.

Lam has rewarded his side for their thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Crusaders at Eden Park in the opening round by sticking with the same side, but he has brought in two new players to the bench.

Luke McAlister has overcome the concussion he sustained against the Chiefs during the pre-season to occupy the back up first five-eighths position, while Kurtis Haiu comes in to replace Filo Paulo.
