This week we look back to 2003, the last time the Blues took out the Super Rugby Championship.

One man who was integral to the Blues' success in 2003 was the mercurial Carlos Spencer, so check out these brilliant highlights from the King that year by clicking on the video above.

@ Susan: Those were the days, unfortunately a distant memory now. I don’t mean to be negative but the Blues have never been the same, the once most feared club in the world now just a status quo. Could it be the effects of globalization? The countries best players once confined to Auckland now chasing the money else where or the Blues management inability to recruit and retain the best talent... either way were not the best anymore and considering our player base we should be streaks a head. May be we should fall on our sword and admit the Crusaders do it better and copy them.
