Quentin MacDonald has the advantage of drawing on a number of international and professional rugby appearances.

The Blenheim native already has experience with the Blues, earning 6 caps for our region in 2013 after spending three years with the Crusaders’ Wider Training Group. He captained the Marlborough Boys’ College First XV and helped the NZ Under 20 team win the IRB Junior World Championship in 2008.

MacDonald was also selected for the Maori All Blacks during their 2012 European tour and spent four months as injury cover with Munster in 2014.

He’s known as a solid scrummager and “superb line-out thrower,” as described by Munster.
