Filo Paulo

Initially named in the Blues Wider Training Group in 2010, Filo Paulo was thrust into the full squad to replace the injured Ali Williams and performed admirably, playing 12 games in his debut season.

The 24-year-old certainly comes with some bulk, measuring 198cm and weighing in at 122kg.

An extremely physical player and a strong lineout jumper, Paulo played his first season of provincial rugby last year for North Harbour after a stint with Ulster in Ireland.
