Sherwin Stowers

New Zealand Sevens gold-medallist Sherwin Stowers turned down the Chiefs and Highlanders to come home and join the Blues for the 2011 Investec Super Rugby competition.

The De La Salle College graduate came through Auckland Rugby Union’s Pro Sport education programme and High Performance Academy before joining Counties-Manukau in 2008.

Stowers has also represented New Zealand at Under-17 and Schoolboy level.
