Steven Luatua

01 Nov 2014
2013 was an incredible year for Steven Luatua as the powerful young loose forward capped off a fine season for the Blues with selection in the All Blacks. He took his opportunities well and went on to play 11 Tests. He also played for the Barbarians against Fiji at Twickenham.

The Blues will be looking for Luatua to bring that same form and confidence back into the Blues environment in 2014 and really be a standout leader with consistent performances. A former New Zealand Secondary Schools representative, Luatua made his provincial debut for Auckland in 2010 and was part of the Junior World Championship-winning New Zealand Under-20 side.
